1st Coburg Scouts is managed by uniformed Group Leaders and Parent Committee.
Parent Committee
Parent Committee members assist Leaders in ensuring our kids have everything they need to make their Scouting experience an awesome one! All members of the committee are parents of children (past and present) in the Group and are all volunteers. They use their various personal and professional skills to support and grow the Group.
The Parent Committee works with and reports to Group Leadership:

At the Committee meeting held in November 2025 and in a recent recruitment drive the 1st Coburg Scout Group Committee were appointed for 2026:

- Group Treasurer: Jeremy Minter
- Group Quartermaster (aka Q-Branch):Liz Round
- Group Community Liaison and Fundraising:Olive Nelmes & Lucy McKinnon
- Group Hall Hire Coordinator: Simone Pike
- Group Committee Members : Paul Corrigan, Carla Stewart, Jacqui Harvey, Marcel Gordon, Onurcan Kurt
The Parent Committee welcomes all parents who would like to be on the committee, attend meetings and events, or would like to find out more about how to become involved in the group.
