The Parents Committee at 1st Coburg is proud to have delivered this much needed upgrade to the bathroom and kitchen facilities.
In rededicating the hall on it's 50th birthday on the 28th of November 2020, our hall is now known as Tuddenham Hall, honouring six decades of combined meritorious service to our Group and local Scouting by Tom (Akela) Tuddenham and Connie (Baloo) Tuddenham.

The Project: To upgrade the scout hall to ensure that it is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and provide a safe environment for the users of the facility. The project will:
- remove the existing non-DDA compliant toilets and replace with 1 DDA unisex toilet with fold-down baby change table, plus 2 separate unisex toilets;
- upgrade the bathroom area to ensure mobility access (e.g. wider doors, accessible handles on doors and taps, accessible basins, non-slip floors, grab rails on walls,disability accessible signage); and
- upgrade exisitng kitchen with new cabinets and fixtures, while retaining existing stove, fridge and dishwasher.
