Hello parents.
Our quarterly parents committee meeting will be held on Thursday 2 March 2017 from 7:15pm
For something different, we will hold the meeting at the Coburg Leisure Centre (Bridges Reserve, Bell Street) soon after the cubs start their swimming session at the pool.
We would love as many parents to come along. All parents have a key role in the decision making for our Group.

1st Coburg Scouts has been a part of the local community for almost 90 years. We started in the 1930's in an old tin shed before eventually moving into our current hall in 1970 (known as Tuddenham Hall). Our Group caters for youth members between ages 5-14 and supports Venturers & Rovers beyond. Our Group values diversity, inclusion and equality.

start Wednesday 8 February from 7pm
- Cubs
start Thursday 9 February from 7pm
We will also reschedule the Parent's Committee meeting scheduled for 2nd February. More details soon.

The 1st Coburg Scouts Christmas Raffle
An annual tradition, we are pleased to let all know that the 1st Coburg Scouts Christmas Raffle is back this year and it's bigger than ever as a result of some generous donations from Bunnings Warehouse Coburg!
Here's the deal - tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.
1st prize - Jumbuck Small Spit Roaster, with heat beads and firelighters thrown in. Great for those summer BBQ's, or starting your own mini-kebab business!
Valued at $90, courtesy of Bunnings Warehouse Coburg.
2nd Prize - Solar LED Festive outdoor lighting selection, including a white reindeer and a set of 300 mutlicoloured string lights-perfect for the budding Clark Griswold's amongst us.

3rd Prize - Christmas Survival Hamper, with some essentials every house needs to survive to holiday break. Valued at $50.
Tickets will be sold at every Scout and Cub night between now and the end of year break-up. We are happy to provide tickets to families if the want to sell them to family, friends and colleagues.
Raffle will be drawn at the Group end of year break up on Sunday 11 December 2016. We will contact winners by phone straight after the draw (or in person if you are at the break-up).
